Weekly arts & music schedule
Mother's Day is in the rearview and Naples settles right back into its rhythm. The week builds toward Saturday, when the 46th Annual Great Canoe Races take over the City Dock with hand-built boats and a costumed crowd that treats the bayfront like a parade route. The Naples Players open Much Ado About Nothing, NPAC stages its first-ever adult production with Next to Normal at the Norris Center, and Opera Naples puts up Adventures in Oz for the kids. Sea turtle season is officially on, hurricane season starts in three weeks, and the patios along Tamiami are running music almost every night. Here's what's worth getting off the couch for.
We recommend confirming with event hosts for complete details and current schedules.
The Most Valuable Audiences Arenβt on the Couch
They're the ones who show up in person.
Nowhere is this truer than anime & manga, where 52% of fans attend live events and 82% buy merchandise. Itβs partially why the marketβs growing from $37B today to $60B in 2030.
Itβs also why TOKYOPOPβs business model is so powerful. They spent nearly 30 years building the IP library, partnerships, and global infrastructure to monetize exactly that kind of fandom. Across publishing, anime production, merchandise, and live experiences, each aspect feeds the next.
And their portfolio of 100+ IPs ensures thereβs something for everybody, including licensing contracts with giants like Nintendo, Disney, and more.
With the anime & manga market projected to grow from $37B today to $60B by 2030, this opportunityβs just starting. Get 5% in guaranteed TOKYOPOP investor bonus stock by May 6 as they scale toward $50M in targeted 2030 revenue.
