🌴 What's Happening in Naples August 10 - 16
Weekly arts & music schedule
School starts Tuesday, which quietly rearranges everybody's week whether you have a kid in Collier schools or not. The first two days are also the hottest, with heat index values near 106 Monday and Tuesday, so anything outdoors before Wednesday should be scheduled early or after dark. Thursday is the crowded night: Alabama plays Hertz Arena, Evening on Fifth puts musicians up and down the sidewalk downtown, and there are three separate business lunches competing for the same hour. Corkscrew Swamp closes August 17 for two weeks of maintenance, which makes this the last week to do the night tour until September. Then the weekend does what Naples weekends do, two farmers markets before nine, poetry in the garden, a summer race out at Eagle Lakes, and four hundred cars at Mercato on Sunday morning. Here is everything worth leaving the house for.
